More About This Harness

The back D-ring offers a traditional lead position, while the chest attachment provides another handling option. The front D-ring provides an alternative lead position. Always check the fit carefully; no harness is completely escape-proof.

How to Fit

Adjust the neck and chest straps evenly, allowing room for two fingers underneath. Check that the harness does not rub behind the front legs, restrict shoulder movement or allow your dog to reverse out.

Size

The current listed variant is Large Soft Harness. Measure your dog and compare with the manufacturer’s size guide before ordering.

Care

Machine wash on a gentle cycle according to the care label. Fasten clips before washing and allow to dry naturally.

Safety Information

Inspect straps, buckles, stitching and both D-rings before every walk. Replace if damaged. Not suitable for tethering, lifting or unattended wear. Use the lead attachment that provides safe, comfortable handling for your individual dog.

Amy’s Tip

Do a little “reverse test” indoors before the first walk: gently guide your dog backwards and check that the harness stays secure without tightening or slipping.

Lead attachments and walking advice

Front and back D-rings give you a choice of lead attachment. A compatible double-ended lead can connect to both points and may offer additional handling control when correctly fitted and used. This harness does not teach loose-lead walking or fix pulling on its own; that takes patient, reward-based training.
