March 4th is World Obesity Day, a reminder that weight management isn’t just important for humans—it’s crucial for our pets too! Many owners believe their dog is a healthy weight, but research from PDSA (2022) found that while 82% of dog owners think their pet is at a healthy weight, up to 65% of dogs are actually overweight or obese. This means many dogs may be carrying excess weight without their owners realising!
