LickiMat® Tuff Buddy™ Red Dog Lick Mat 20cm

Give your dog a rewarding licking activity with the LickiMat® Tuff Buddy™ in Red. The Buddy criss-cross texture holds soft foods and spreads across the surface, encouraging your dog to take their time exploring each tasty bit.

A rigid polypropylene base supports the textured feeding surface, making the Tuff Buddy sturdier than a flexible Classic mat. Use it with part of your dog's usual meal or a small treat topping to add enrichment to their daily routine.

Why choose the Tuff Buddy?

• Raised criss-cross texture suits soft wet food and sticky pet-safe spreads.
• Rigid base provides a stronger, chew-resistant construction.
• Encourages licking and slower food enjoyment.
• Food-safe TPR surface bonded to a durable PP base.
• Measures 20 × 20cm.
• Dishwasher safe, freezer safe and microwave friendly.
• Supplied in Red.

How to use

Spread a thin layer of suitable food over the crosses and introduce the mat under supervision. Try your dog's usual wet food, a pet treat paste, purée or a little plain yoghurt if tolerated. If using peanut butter, choose a dog-safe product without xylitol.

Amy's tip: Start with an easy-to-reach layer so your dog learns to lick the mat. Once they are familiar with it, a suitable partially frozen topping can add variety. Use part of their usual food allowance and count extra treats towards daily intake.

Care instructions

Wash thoroughly after every use by hand or in the dishwasher. Allow to dry before storing. Freezer safe and microwave friendly; check food temperature before serving after warming.

Safety

Chew-resistant does not mean chew-proof. This is a feeding accessory, not a chew toy. Always supervise your dog, especially puppies, and remove if they begin chewing it. Check regularly and discard if damaged. Provide fresh drinking water.
