Composition and analytical constituents

Composition: beef testicles.

Analytical constituents, as stated on the packaging: protein 78%, oil/fat 10%, crude fibre 0.7%, crude ash 1%.

Feeding and suitability

Feed as an occasional treat alongside a complete, balanced diet. Choose a piece appropriate to your dog's size, teeth and chewing style. Always supervise, provide fresh drinking water and remove small pieces that could be swallowed whole. Adjust their usual food allowance to account for treats.

The packaging describes these as ideal for puppies and senior dogs, but gives no minimum puppy age. Check age suitability with the manufacturer or your vet before feeding to a young puppy. Avoid for dogs with a beef allergy, and check suitability if your dog has dental problems, a medical condition or a prescribed diet.

Storage

Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight. Reseal after opening and keep out of reach of pets. Natural pieces vary in size, shape and colour.

Amy's tip

Start with a small amount when introducing a new treat and watch how your dog chews it. Pick each piece to suit your dog rather than relying on the pack's general age guidance.
