Great&Small Santa and Friends Door Hanger | Christmas Cat Toy

Christmas playtime with a festive trio to bat and pounce on

Add a little seasonal fun to your cat’s routine with the Great&Small Santa and Friends Door Hanger. This Christmas cat toy combines a bright green festive ring, red feather details and three dangling plush characters for curious paws to investigate.

A gingerbread figure, reindeer and Christmas tree hang beneath the ring, offering different shapes to reach for and bat. The “Merry Christmas” design and cheerful red-and-green colours make it a lovely gift idea for a cat who enjoys hanging toys.

Festive details your cat can explore

• Three dangling characters: gingerbread, reindeer and Christmas tree designs.
• Red feather trim: adds another texture to the toy.
• Hanging play format: gives your cat targets to tap and set moving during supervised play.
• Christmas styling: a green ring with festive illustrations and “Merry Christmas” lettering.

Setting up a play session

Follow the packaging’s hanging instructions and check that the toy is securely positioned before inviting your cat to explore. Use a clear area where they can move comfortably, and keep the door stationary throughout play.

Let your cat approach at their own pace. A gentle movement of one dangling character can invite interest; give them time to watch, reach and catch rather than continually moving it away.

Care and supervision

Always supervise use. Inspect the hanging loop, cords, feathers and seams regularly, and remove the toy if any part becomes loose or damaged. Take it down and store out of your cat’s reach between sessions. Remove packaging before use and follow the care guidance on the label.

Amy’s Tip

I suggest choosing a time when your cat is naturally playful and keeping the session short. Finish with a chance to catch a dangling character, then put the hanger away until next time.
