Working Together to Make a Difference: Supporting Boomerang’s Pet Foodbank
At Amy’s Pet Supplies, our love for animals goes beyond the products we stock on our shelves. We’ve always believed that no pet should go hungry, and that’s why we’ve been proud to support Boomerang’s Pet Foodbank for several years now.
Based in Haverhill, Boomerang’s Pet Foodbank is a volunteer-run organisation doing incredible work across Suffolk and parts of Essex. Their simple but powerful mission is clear: "Let no pet go hungry." They support families facing hardship by providing essential pet food and supplies, helping to prevent much-loved animals from being surrendered simply because their owners are struggling to afford their care.
How We Support Boomerang’s – and How You Can Too
We’ve been collecting donations on their behalf right here in our shop at Blake House Craft Centre. Whether it’s a bag of kibble, some tinned food, or other unopened pet essentials, everything donated goes directly to help pets in need through Boomerang’s network.
If you’d like to contribute, it’s easy:
- Bring any unopened pet food or accessories into the shop – we have a dedicated donation point ready for drop-offs.
- Feel free to ask us any questions if you’re unsure what to bring – we’re always happy to help.
- Tell your friends, family, and fellow pet lovers. Every little bit makes a huge difference!
